Outfit the Future is EMS Closet’s annual back-to-school initiative that helps students in Richland County School District One and Two start the school year with confidence and dignity.
Through community donations, we provide new clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, backpacks, books, and comfort items to children in need.
Our goal is simple: every child deserves to begin school feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Join EMS Closet at upcoming community partner events where a portion of sales supports our mission to provide clothing and essentials for local students.
Your support at these events directly helps us outfit students with the clothing and confidence they need for the school year.
Our biggest community collection event of the summer, Fill the Truck brings together volunteers, families, and partners to help fill the truck with new clothing and essential items for local students.
Held at St. John’s on August 2, this event is a hands-on opportunity for the community to directly support EMS Closet’s mission. Every donated item helps ensure students start the school year with confidence, dignity, and the essentials they need to succeed.
